ShyBoy co-wrote his new single “He and She” with legendary hit songwriter Allee Willis. The pair collaborated with producers Jeff Hoeppner and Mark Nubar to create a record that makes a powerful statement on individuality, sexual orientation, and gender identity. This 80s-influenced track features joyful synth-pop flourishes and playfully catchy vocal hooks that come together to lead the listener through the doors, corridors, and windows of self discovery and expression.
Allee Willis is a Grammy, Emmy, and Tony Award-winning and nominated co-writer of pop hits such as “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire, “Neutron Dance” by The Pointer Sisters, and “What Have I Done To Deserve This?” by Pet Shop Boys with Dusty Springfield. She also co-wrote the theme from the iconic TV series ‘Friends,’ and the Tony-winning musical ‘The Color Purple.’
